Open a support issueThe camera does not open
Open iOS Settings, find What's Cooking?, and make sure Camera access is enabled. Return to the app and start the scan again.
A scan does not finish
Confirm that the device has an internet connection, then try again with one clear photo. Photos are sent securely for real-time ingredient analysis, so scanning cannot complete while offline.
Delete an account
While signed in, open Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm. This permanently deletes the account and clears app data saved on that device.
AI photo-processing consent
The app asks before sending photos to AWS and Anthropic Claude for ingredient and recipe processing. To withdraw that permission, open Settings → Privacy → Withdraw AI photo consent.
Delete recent results
Use the clear option in the app's recent scans view. You can also remove all locally stored app data by deleting the app from the device.
Privacy questions
Read the privacy policy for details about photo processing, local storage, and short-lived operational logs.
